View across a plain towards a mountain. There are trees on the plain leading to the foot of the mountain in the distance. Extensive notes in German below the work, some of them colour notes. A brolga or an emu is walking on the flat land in the foregroundl, there is a small shed (or rooftop) visible to the right and a horse and rider amongst the trees, centre right
