Description: School bus, driven by Mr D L Dransfield, on a road beside the Wainui Stream after slips had been cleared from the road, taken 23 July 1968 by an unidentified Evening Post staff photographer. Caption - Original Evening Post caption reads: "Mr D L Dransfield driving his school bus over the area in which it became stuck in a slip last week. The slip was cleared this morning, but the hillside had an ominous look, suggesting further slips. The spoil from the slip was bulldozed into the Wainui Stream, on right."
