Contains photographs of the construction of the Social Security Health Department building which took place from 7 February to 23 March 1939. Includes photographs of the completed building and its interiors. Builders were Fletcher and Love in conjunction with the Public Works Department. Building was officially opened on 27 March 1939. Album also contains portraits of Michael Joseph Savage, Walter Nash, Peter Fraser, Robert Semple, John J Mair, James Fletcher and J J Craig.
