- Description
Shows an arrangement of various texts and letterings, with a crest of His Royal Highness the Duke of Edinburgh, and the words "Contractors to the Admiralty". There is also a logo for the Sydney International Exhibition in 1879, and the Melbourne International Exhibition of 1880, at which Gear Meat won prizes. There are instructions to cool the can thoroughly before opening, and to slice the meat with a sharp knife.
Dated by labels reporting prizes in 1879 and 1880.
