View of the Post Office, Courthouse and other buildings in Monkhouse Street, Tolaga Bay. A poster stuck to a lamppost advertises the Lyceum Picture Company's screening that night. There is a large puddle of water on the road in the foreground.
Name on photographer's plate is E Gilling. The name "E Gilby" is given in the Otago Witness, for 26 May 1909, page 52.
