Description

This cartoon features the collapse of the bridge at Bulls in a flood. Minister of Works and Deputy Prime Minister Hugh Watt, some other men and a police officer are inspecting the wreckage. One of the men suggests that Leader of the Opposition Jack Marshall could give some advice as he's so keen on bridge building (regarding the South African Springbok rugby tour).
