One bird is shown standing on a rock. The plumage is black with a few orange flecks on head, wings and underparts. The short tail has a broad white band in the middle and narrow white tip. The cere, lores and gape are yellow. The bill is black becoming yellow basally. The legs are yellow. Possibly the Common black hawk (Buteogallus anthracinus). The other bird is on a branch. The plumage on the back, wings and tail is slate grey. The head is black and the breast and underparts are pale grey. The tail has two very long feathers
Wispilpil means black hawk in the Ulwa language spoken in eastern region of Nicaragua
