Description

The cartoon shows an All black with a rugby ball in his hand beckoning to a Scottish rugby player who looks cautious and uncertain. Behind the All Black lying on the ground a Welsh rugby player is saying, Robbed in the last minute the thievin' shpalpeen! An Irish rugby player is saying, Robbed! Robbed! Hollywood! Robbed... And an English rugby player is saying, Decidedly humbled by jove! Refers to the 1978 tour of the British Isles by the All Blacks. The team became the first to defeat all British Isles national teams, the 1924 All Blacks did not play Scotland, and went on to win 17 out of 18 games.
