Comprises (i) notes copied by Smith (and overwritten, orignally by T W Downes) from Whatahoro Jury (38p), (ii) Sundry notes from Te Matorohanga (6 leaf note by Best on Te Matorohanga's book), (iii) 69 leaves copied from `Te Whatahoro's second book' (begins with contents list) (iv) Te Whare-wananga 1868 (copy) - 36 leaves copied from `Te Whatahoro's third volume' with two pages attached headed `questions on whare-wananga and J M Jury papers, Sept 25 1911'.
