Description

General view of the Maori village at Whakarewarewa taken from the bridge. Several boys are sitting on the bank above the river and another boy is standing on the bridge ready to dive into the river after pennies. Houses can be seen in the thermal area beyond, as well as blankets hanging on a line and wooden framing behind. Photograph taken by William Archer Price ca 1908.
