Description

There are four vignettes in this cartoon. In the top left Muldoon is striking back at a worker who is looking for a pay agreement. In the top right a West Indian cricketer is chasing and striking at a referee. In the bottom left Nevile Lodge is seen returning to work after his holiday, sharpening his pencil on the 'cartoon grind stone'. In the lower right Lodge has drawn himself sleeping with his feet up on his drawing board. An observer is saying that Lodge 'wants to put the clock back one month and start his holidays again!'.
