Description

A profile view of the head of a Maori woman, inscribed Inenuitepo, bracketed with Mardia, then the word Kipa, evidently a transliteration of a Maori phrase. The woman has an earring. Another profile, possibly of a man, below. Bottom right, a small drawing of the Sugar Loaf rocks and Paritutu at New Plymouth, viewed from the south, with the coastline on the right

On the reverse of C-103-012-1, a set of cartoons dated 1840. Removed from a sketchbook.
