Shows people attending the dawn ceremony, including Prime Minister Walter Nash and Eruera Tihema Tirikatene. Also shows a group (including Betty Puketapu, Erenora Puketapu, Hina Puketapu, Patsy Puketapu, Joyce Hawe, Grace Gandy and Wikitoria Puketapu) performing an action song, Maori women, and a portrait of a Maori girl.
