Description

The Catholic Church at Addisons, taken ca 1900 by an unknown photographer.

The church was used as a school from 1867 until 1880, when a school building (subsequently destroyed by fire ) was completed. Mrs Duffy was the first headmistress. The photograph has been dated from the presence of an early safety bicycle leaning against the church.
