Peter Fraser was bringing President Roosevelt reports on United Nations' progress in the South Pacific fighting area; Lord Halifax was the British Ambassador; Brigadier General Hurley was the US Minister to New Zealand and had accompanied the Prime Minister to Washington; Walter Nash was the New Zealand Minister to the United States.
