Lambton Quay at the Brandon and Johnston Street area, showing the Wairarapa Farmers Co-operative Association Ltd, H C Gibbons & Co, Diamond Confectionary Co and the Arcadia Private Hotel. Midground, on the right, is Kirkcaldie and Stains Ltd and further down, next door, is the business of Dresden Pianoforte. In the background the Public Trust building is under construction. Taken by Sydney Charles Smith circa 1908.
