Shows a clown's head bursting out of a paper hoop, with scenes from the Big Top in the background, including, trapeze artists, a chimpanzee with a pill-box hat, elephants and horseback acrobats.
Attached sheet at the top announces that Sole Bros and Wirths' Combined Circus & Zoo arrives from record breaking sessions in Australia. There is a managerial note: "Contrary to rumours circulating through New Zealand, Sole Bros & Wirths combined Circus & Zoo have no connection with any show carrying similar names - Sole Bros or Wirths have not toured New Zealand since 1962".
Poster must predate July 1967, as prices are in shillings.
