- Description
Dunedin from Bell Hill in 1858, photographed by John Tensfeld and copied by Muir and Moodie.
This photograph is a copy negative of a print made by Muir & Moodie, probably between 1900 and 1910, from an original photograph by the Dunedin photographer John Tensfeld. Tensfeld arrived in Dunedin in 1857 and, according to Hardwicke Knight, the original photograph was clearly dated by Tensfeld to 1858.
