Surveyed, cadastral map of the Grainger Street property subdivision, showing some numbered sections with acreage, bounded by Tory, Wakefield, Allen, Blair streets, and part of Courtenay Place and Cambridge Terrace, Wellington. Annotated onto the map, in ink, are prices and the names: Turnbull & Jones, Church of England, Bolton, ?Racton, Maori land - Harker, Atkins, Hudson, Bray & Russell, Bank of ?, Symonds, Burbridge, H ? Teagle, T & P Hunter. (Some names are indecipherable).

Grainger Street, Te Aro, which existed in 1890, but not by 1923, ran parallel to Courtenay Place and Wakefield Street, through the middle of the blocks of Tory, Allen and Blair streets to Cambridge Terrace. The Grainger Street property appears to have been the land bounded by Tory St, Courtenay Place, Cambridge Terrace and Wakefield Street.
