Taupo Totara Timber number 9 steam locomotive, on the Taupo Totara Timber railway between Putaruru and Mokai, probably at the southern end. Photograph taken by Albert Percy Godber between 1921 and 1947.

The locomotive was a 32 ton Heisler, maker's number 1449 and was built in the USA in 1921. It was sold to the Public Works Dept in 1947.
