Two men standing outside a chemist's shop watching the back view of a retreating woman. The shop has a display in its window of 'Red Cross ointment'. Below is the following text: 'The Knut: By Jove, old chap, did you see how Miss Haughty cut me? The Chemist: Never mind, old fellow. Red Cross ointment heals all cuts and wounds'. 'The knut' is a foolish-looking man waearing a checked suit with plus fours, while the chemist is more elegantly turned out.
