This was a stone and plaster house and, after Williams left to go to Te Waimate, was occupied by Charles Baker, before being used to accommodate the Church Mission printing press. William Colenso occupied it with the press 1839-1842 then John Telford 1843-1845. It is a registered historic site (Register 403). (Further information about the house is at RTR1015807)
