Comprises two scenes: the upper one showing a dog-team of four dogs in snow pulling sled, and accompanied at right by man on snow-shoes. Snow-covered hills in distance. The lower scene is of five blood-hounds running in a pack from right, accompanied by man in hunting dress in foreground. There is a cabbage tree on left beside a stream, and small dwellings in the distance.
