Description

Photograph of the family of Faumuina, one of the important chiefs of the Faleata district near Apia, Savai'i, Western Samoa. Photographed by Alfred James Tattersall

Often the name Faumuina only is used in histories of Samoa. So I have been unable to establish whether this is Mata'afa Faumuina Fiame Mulinu'u 1 who was associated with the formation of the Mau movement, or his father, or someone completely different.

Quantity: 1 b&w original photographic print(s).
