Description

The prow of the sailing ship 'Jessie Readman' showing her figurehead, with members of the crew standing on board looking towards the camera. Many of the men are wearing jerseys with 'P H & Co' (Patrick Henderson & Co.) printed on them. Photographed by David Alexander De Maus. Dated from the Comber Index which indicates this ship visited Port Chalmers between 1870 and 1892.

Note on negative envelope reads "1/4 neg also"
