Interior view of the second Vivian Street Baptist Church, Wellington, showing the arched ceiling, looking towards the pulpit with the organ behind. Across the arch above the pulpit is the inscription: "Worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness". This church was opened for use on Sunday May 5, 1895. Architect W Crichton. Photographed by Albert Percy Godber in 1941.

The pipe organ in this photograph was built by William Hill & Son of London, England. It was first installed in St Peter's church in Willis Street, Wellington, in January 1873 and was then removed to Nativity church in Blenheim in 1887. In 1907 it was installed in Vivian Street Baptist Church.
