Description

An arrangement of text in Maori addressed to all Maori and Pakeha people of the land, urging them to protect birds by protecting their forest habitat.

Two copies held.

The poster was issued by the Native Bird Protection Society which distributed osters to areas in the north Island from 1924. Elsdon Best appears to have looked over the translation and checked it for the Native bird Protection Society.
