Group including Peter Fraser (front row, centre, in black suit) and Viscount Montgomery of Alamein (to his right) at powhiri at Tamatekapua Meeting house, Ohinemutu, during Viscount Montgomery's visit to New Zealand. Photograph taken 28 July 1947 by a National Publicity Studios photographer. Shows a group of dignitaries, ceremony attendants, and military officers seated in front of a whare runanga (meeting house). There is a carved bell house to the right.
