In this cartoon three men, one of whom is the Minister of Transport Colin McLachlan, stand looking at a picture indicating the costs of extending the runway of Wellington airport. An arrow labelled northern extension has $10,900,000 above it. Another arrow labelled southern extension has $26,500,000 above it while below it is written 'or possibly $8,800,000'. In front of the picture is a draughtsman's table.
