Description

Snapshots taken in the North Island of New Zealand between 1935 and 1936, taken by an unidentified photographer.

Several of the images show war memorials, in Featherston; the memorial clock in Gisborne; and memorial gates at Victoria Park, Stratford.

The last three scenes show groups of women. They include Alice, Ivy, Gwynne, Tess, Mrs Carte-Lloyd and Mrs Booth
