Freezing workers' cottages on road leading to Waima at northern end of Tokomaru Bay. A large ploughed field is in the foreground. A row of blankets are hung over a fence in the middle ground. The sea can be seen on the right. Photograph possibly taken by Oates Bros of Tokomaru Bay in early 1900s, and after 1910 when the freezing works opened.
