Cadastral map of Te Aro Pa, Wellington, bounded by the end of Manners Street, Taranaki Street, Courtenay Place, Tory Street, and Lambton Harbour (which, as a result of reclamation, is now Wakefield Street). The pa is subdivided as Section no. 214, 215 and 216, showing surveyed lots, 1-28, with acreage. Shows unnamed streets within the pa, (one now known as Halleys Lane), and two unnumbered lots named government land. Maori owners names have been handwritten on the map before copying, but are difficult to read. They include (note spelling may be incorrect): Henare Pamipi te Rangi Nui, Teretui Paora, Nakoro Oroti, Heta Manuma, Meta Rekainui, Ahipaui ?Maraungau, Te Keene te Rangi, Hemi Parae, Te Waka Houtipu, Tiaki te Wera, Hakeraia, Mohi Ngaponga, Te Teira Whotakore, Te Muni, Ihikiera te Waikapoatiki. Dwellings include a chapel, and 4 other buildings, possibly houses.
