Includes extensive whakapapa of Ngati Toa families and relationships to associated iwi and hapu viz Ngati Rarua, Ngati Koata, Ngati Haumia etc. Also includes brief information about Pukekaraka 4B land block at Otaki; whakapapa from from various canoes to Marangaiparoa, son of Toa Rangatira; a Ngati Toa waiata "Ko te pana a Hoki" for Te Purewa, 2nd wife of Te Peehi Kupe; waiata by the Ngati Raukawa chief Hukiki Te Ahukaramu "Taku ringa ko te ringa tapu' Hana Kuti Te Kanawa, or Cootes, was the youngest daughter of the English whaler James Cootes (Hemi or Tieme Kuti) and the Ngati Toa chieftainess Waitaoro Te Kanawa. She was married to Wineera Te Kanae, also of Ngati Toa. Hana wrote this pukapuka whakapapa tupuna (genealogical book) specifically for Matenga Baker, her grandnephew. Quantity: 1 volume(s).
