A biographical account of the life of Arthur Patrick O'Leary from his birth to his mid-20s describing his family life, the hardship following his father's death, his time in orphanages and later in Burnham borstal, working on the Holly family farm at Leeston under a Burnham scheme and their help in allowing him to escape from it, his various jobs and some war service experiences.
