Description

A man demonstrating a table tennis bat with two balls on springs attached on either side. The scene is in a table-tennis club, with a game going on in the foreground. Refers to sponge-covered bats which make no sound when used, to players' confusion about this and to a comic solution that would confuse one's opponent.

The caption for this work is the cartoonist's third attempt, glued on top of two other captions.
