A stall at a trade fair probably held in Auckland, advertising and displaying the wares of Hemingways (e.g. J L N Hemingway's butter wafers), with signs advertising ice cream cones & wafers, other products associated with the manufacture of ice creams, and also essences, food colourings and paper baking cases. Various items of confectionary are displayed on the counter, and at each end of the counter there are containers with celluloid windmills for sale (4d, 6d or 9d each). Source of descriptive information - This image is one of a number taken at the trade fair, and was dated from the image at 1/2-000266 which had a picture of a stamped envelope, dated 9 Jul 1930.
