View overlooking the Judean desert in Palestine, with World War I troops and horses walking down a narrow road. Photograph taken during the Sinai/Palestine campaign (1916-1918) by an unidentified photographer (possibly Alfred Frances Buckland of the Auckland Mounted Rifles, who compiled the album).
