The Old Mill at Te Wairoa which was buried during the eruption of Mount Tarawera in 1886. This photograph was taken by the Burton Brothers shortly after the eruption.
Note on back of file print reads: "Old Mill buried in eruption. Photo taken shortly after. c 1886. This was the first building to be covered and uncovered in European times."
