They wear full length petticoats under their piupiu, long sleeved blouses, and feathers in their hair. Mita Taupopoki stands on the right holding a patu and wearing a cloak and a headdress. A woman on the left holds a taiaha. Other whare and houses are in the background. A carved wooden waharoa (gateway) is in front of the house.
