New Zealand deputy Prime Minister Jack Marshall is seen as a one-man band, playing the 'instruments' of his portfpolios of overseas trade, immigration and labour, outside the door of the E.E.C. A journalist is asking Prime Minister, Sir Keith Holyoake - "But, Sir Keith, don't you think Minister of Labour should be a full-time job for one man?" The Prime Minister replies - "Of course I believe in one man, one job - and what's a one-man band if it isn't a one-man job?"
