New Zealand soldiers watching the final of a divisional rugby competition, played outside Tripoli during World War 2. Photograph taken circa 2 March 1943 by Harold Gear Paton.
The game was between the Maori Battalion and the Divisional Signallers. The Maori Battalion won the game by 8 points to 6.
