St John's Presbyterian Church is on the corner of Dixon Street with Jameson's Co-Operative Storage opposite. St Peter's Church is further up Willis Street and Wellington College can be seen in the distance. In the foreground is a private garden enclosed by a wooden fence behind a house on Dixon Street (the site of what is now the Dixon Street flats).
