View looking along Hokianga Road in Dargaville, Northland, towards the river wharf. Shows commercial buildings on both sides of the street and an unidentified man on a horse travelling down the centre. The Borough Office is on the right. Railway tracks cross the road, just beyond the stop sign. Photograph taken circa 1914-1925, by a member of the Northwood family, probably by Arthur James Northwood.
