Scene at Waipiro Bay circa 1900-1910. A steamer, two schooners, other smaller boats, and a horse drawn cart are visible. Photograph taken by Frederick Ashby Hargreaves.
Note on back of file print reads "A steamer and 2 schooners in the roadstead at Waipiro Bay. The steamer is loading wool for the market in Napier & the schooners are unloading merchandise for the settlers & probably building timber & joinery for local buildings. c1900-10."
