Description

Lower right panel shows small vignettes of the buildings and premises of:

Cameron & Christie, ironmongers and American hardware importers, of Lambton Quay Wellington. Direct importers of house furnishing and buildiners' ironmongery, electro-plated goods, cutlery, lamps, bedsteads, etc. "Our motto: To buy well is to sell well". There is also a vignette of the interior of the shop above.

H G [ie H C] Gibbons & Company, seed merchants and growers, 131 Lambton Quay. There is a vignette above, of barrels of produce such as that sold by the store.

Bonnington's Irish Moss. every dose of Bonnington's "Carrageen" or Irish Moss is effective. Sold everywhere. Bonninton, Christchurch. This panel shows a head and shoulders portrait of George H Bonnington, Christchurch chemist who patented the product.

The "canvasser" is Wellesley A Parker, of Bourke Street, Melbourne.
