A photograph of Kikouri, the first chairman of the Ruatahuna School committee in 1918, photographed probably circa 1924. Shows an elderly Maori man with a cane, standing in the garden of a building upon which grows a flowering climbing rose and sweet peas.The buidling is probably the second Misison House at Ruatahuna (built in 1924).
Date of photography and location asserted by reader as taken circa 1924 as the location is most likely at the Ruatahuna Mission House built in 1924.
