Description: Indicates in picture-language that justice will be strict and impartial with a series of drawings showing both European and Aboriginal men, women and children, the two groups greeting one another in friendship, then an Aboriginal being hanged after killing a European and a European being hanged after killing an Aboriginal The attribution to the Governorship of Governor Davey is incorrect. The image is thought to have been designed by George Frankland during the Governorship of George Arthur and originally published in Hobart in 1829 with this version being republished in 1866 in Melbourne for the Intercolonial Exhibition.
