Description: Includes cartoons about a "dry" hotel planned in the Terrace, the demolition of the YWCA building, the food at Rongotai cafe, admission tickets to the zoo, the rise in bus fares, the Police boat on Wellington Harbour, a 12.5 % rates increase in the early 1970s, local body elections, the amenities of Wellington compared with Auckland and Christchurch, the Wellington festival 1973, road planning on Cobham Drive, and the use of W.C.C. cars. Arranged chronologically, according to the dates of "Dominion" clippings in Heath's albums (at E-521/547-q). Those for which no date could be found are arranged at around the estimated date. Description: This cartoon shows four scenarios that could happen as a result of bands playing music in the Wellington Railway Station. In the first grumpy men object to a band playing 'Hi Ho, Hi Ho, its off to work we go', and the second shows a worker dancing into his office but a fellow worker tells another that he will still be asleep by morning tea as usual, the third has a man still dancing with a woman when they reach Willis Street and the last one has a heavily bandaged man telling his fellow workers that the music made him forget the station steps.
