Standing portrait of Henare Takarangi Metekingi photographed circa 1900 by Frank J Denton of Wanganui. He wears a tiki around his neck, and a collarless shirt with a leather sash over his shoulder. Around his waist he wears a piupiu. He holds raupo leaves and a seedhead. Originally identified as Waata Wiremu Hipango.
