Signs include Mervyn Adams Foot Specialist, Sly's Footwear, Avis Hedgeman School of Dancing, Bateman's Floral Studio, Levien Optician, and Sunshine Grill Rooms. Mothers with children and pram are window shopping. Part of the premises of Steele Photography, and New Cine Film Studios at 322 Queen Street can be seen on the far left. Taken by Whites Aviation on 27 November 1950.
